NO MORE CHEMO!! ALL DONE!

I cannot explain how happy I amLaughing My last chemo treatment was today :cartwheel: :cartwheel: :jump for joy: :jump for joy: :high fives to everyone!!:

I never want to experience that again. 6 months of pure torture is now over. I cannot believe it. The good news is you cannot feel or see my tumor anymore.

The nurses were so awesome and I will miss them all very much. They all came to say goodbye and good luck to me and even blew bubbles and filled the room I was in. I love those ladies.

I have been asked to do a documentary about young women with breast cancer. I agreed to do it so I can tell my story. How cool is that! Yes, Yes, autographs for everyoneWink Just kidding!! I really hope to help other young ladies who will have to go through this. This is now my cause and I am ready to give back however I can.

My best friend Michele came and sat with me today and it meant so much to me. Thank you Michele! We leave for San Francisco on Tuesday!! A little fun before the storm (surgerySealed). I do have doctor appointments with 4 drs while I'm there but we will have time to enjoy the city. We are going to see the Jersey Boys (micheles treat) Thanks Michele!! This is my first vacation with a friend ever!

Carol (Micheles mom) gave me some beautiful earrings. I love them. Thank you so much! From the time I was 13 this was my second home and mom #2.

Please pray for Jon my husband. He is really trying hard to fill in for me with the kids when I am not feeling well. This weekend I will be in bed because of the chemo and next week I won't be here. He really struggles with meals and sticking to the routine of bedtime, homework etc. Its not as easy as I make it look. He knows that now but I still worry. Prayers are definitely needed.

Thank you everyone for the kind comments on my guestbook. I love hearing from you all.

Its back to school and it seems like we never had summer break. It went so fast. Its so good for the kids right now though. Keeps them busy. Alyssa is a senior this year. Amazing! She just took senior pictures yesterday.

I love you Uncle Pat! Prayers and hugs your way for a fast recovery from your knee surgery. I can't wait to see you again. I am so happy you live in Idaho. Its my favorite state. I love it there.

My hair is almost an inch long now. Its growing finally. I can't wait to ditch the hats. I have grown quite fond of the one I wear all time a gift from Mrs. Venditto and gabriella. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone at Casas for the amazing love and support. You are all so wonderful and I have made some great friendships through this.

Christina O. Thank you for the book. I will read it on the plane. I have peeked at it and it looks like great information that I really need to know and apply to my life.

I am currently reading the Breast Reconstruction Guide Book (Issues and Answers from Research to Recovery) by Kathy Steligo. This book is a must read for any woman considering or having breast surgery and reconstruction of any kind for breast cancer or prevention of. Its very informative, realistic and thorough.

I have been thinking a lot lately (yes again). I have met and became close with so many people in my lifetime. Then for one reason or another we go seperate ways and I never see or hear from them again or we meet years later. I heard from a childhood friend of mine Heather. We grew up together as young girls. Our moms have been friends forever. I have many fond memories of playing with her and her sister Holly. I stayed the night at their house many times and we always had so much fun. Then when I was about 8yrs old my family and I moved to Silverton Oregon and at 10 we moved to Arizona. I think I saw them once after that and never again. So many people come and go in my life and it is sad to me. I am talking about people I create a bond with. Even now I have made some great friends and some of them are moving away and I know I will never see them again. Its just a tough reality to grasp. That's life as they say but it breaks my heart.

I am so glad that I got to reconnect with my cousins Sherri and Suzy. I can honestly say they are like sisters to me. I love you both so much. Aunt Orva and Uncle Jim I love you too!

Well I will have a surgery date soon and will be that much closer to recovery. I am really frightened when I think of the surgeries I have to get. I am tough though and will be fine.

August 16th a date I will never forget.

No coward soul is mine. No trembler in the world's storm-troubled sphere; I see Heaven's glories shine, and faith shines, arming me from fear.

Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect; it just means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

Years may wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul.

A woman is like a tea bag. You never know how strong she is until she gets into hot water.
