15: Painting my Head Like an Easter Egg!
April 14, 2004

Happy a few days after Easter!  What an incredible day we had at McCoole's ... man I needed that!  I had mentioned before that my 2 nieces and nephew were completely excited about my going bald because I told them they could color my head.  Well every day I saw them until the baldness set in they had been bugging me about it (even offered to color my forehead while they waited).  Too cute.

Well not all my hair fell out but enough to make me shave it, so Sunday morning I shaved it so close that the sun's reflection would bounce off it!  The day before Easter I went to the craft store and bought a bunch of beautiful acrylic paint as well as paint brushes, and Sunday, when I saw Molly, Maggie and Keelan, we were armed and ready to just go nuts!

The following pictures outline our day.  Thank you so much McCooles!  I had been in a bit of an emotional hole and your love and spirit really helped pull me out of it.

On to round three!  This is Katie, Kevin's sister, and she is the true artist in the family so decided to get in on the fun.
