BreastCancerStories.com (BCS.com) has been developed so breast cancer patients can have their own place to write and share their story online, so friends and family members can follow their story and better understand what their loved one is going through, and so new patients can find someone similar to them, read their story, and not feel quite so alone.

Story Writers and Readers

Writer Registration Information

Writer Password

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Writer Password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your Writer Password. You agree to notify BreastCancerStories.com of any known or suspected unauthorized use of your Writer Password or any other breach of security. BreastCancerStories.com will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect the confidentiality of your Writer Password.

Privacy Settings

When registering as a story writer you have the option to have your story be public or private.

If electing to have your story private:

• You must create and maintain a separate reader password.
• Your story readers must know the direct web address to your story and their reader password.
• Readers are not required to register in order to read your story.

If electing to have your story public:

• You understand and agree that all content within your story may be read and viewed by the general public.

Term and Cost of Service

There is no fee for this service.

Termination

As the story writer you agree that BreastCancerStories.com may, under certain circumstances and without prior notice, immediately delete your story from the website. Cause for such termination may include (a) violation of these TERMS of USE or other incorporated agreements or guidelines, (b) requests by law enforcement or other government agencies, (c) a request by you, (d) and unexpected technical or security issues or problems  Further, you agree that all terminations for cause will be made in BreastCancerStories.com’s sole discretion and that BreastCancerStories.com will not be liable to you or any third-party for deletion of your BreastCancerStories.com.
