3: Getting a Cold

September 25, 2003

My sore throat was turning into a full-fledged cold. Yeeha. If my counts go down, I wouldn't be able to fight it.

Friday, Sept. 26

My cold was getting worse...lots of sneezing, and my nose was constantly running. I called the triage nurse to see what I could take. I decided to take Tylenol Cold. One of the other options was Benadryl, but I though that would make me too drowsy. (I would become "oh so familiar" with Benadryl later in my treatment!)
