14: Getting Back to a Routine is Hard

2/27/06 It was so hard to come back to school after a week off.  I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning.  Part of the reason being I have came down with a bad cold yesterday.  I started sneezing in the afternoon and it progresses as the night went on.  I am keeping a close eye on my temperature, as a fever is bad.  Other wise my vacation was great!!  We moved into the new to us house, and are all unpacked.  There are still things to hang on the walls and a few “boy jobs” for Travis to do, but we are pretty much settled in.  I felt great all week, being a non-chemo week.  I spent time with Becky while she was home, had lunch with Sara & Lauren Audy and her two sisters, went to breakfast with Beth, Mom and Travis, went to the hockey game and worked some for WW.  It was a great week!!

On Thursday, I will have my 4th chemo treatment and be half done!!  It seems like it has been forever, but it has gone pretty quick.  I am hoping that this cold doesn’t interfere.  I just want to be done!

Thanks to everyone for sending emails my way.  I love getting them and try to respond; sometimes it takes me a while.  I also want to thank everyone who has sent me a hat or two.  It keeps my head warm and gives me a new look every day.  I look forward to visitors in the new house!
