17: A Great Week / Relay For Life |
|
3/28/06 Another great week. The side effects from chemo #5 were minimal. I have had a few hot flashes. My mom thinks that is pretty funny. Lucky for me they are not that bad and they don’t last. My eyelashes are falling out slowly. I finally shaved my legs. I really didn’t want to because that is the only place on my body that grows hair. However it was getting long. I hope that the treatment tomorrow goes as well and the side effects stay minimal.
I am participating in the Relay for Life walk on April 28th and 29th. This will be my third year walking in this event. The money raised goes to the American Cancer Society. I would like to thank everyone who has given me such generous donations. If you would like to donate, you can visit my website and make a donation there, or if you would like to send the donation, the check can be made to the American Cancer Society and sent to me at PO Box 526, Middlebury, VT 05753. Thanks again!

I’ve been thinking a lot about the past year and while writing in my journal I thought I should write about it.
