The Holidays...

Innocent The holiday season was pretty nice, really. I was still recouping from my two surgeries. I tried to make the season nice for the kids. I wasn't in the mood inside, but outside I had to make it good for the kids. My daughter and I put up our christmas tree while my son watched, putting his two cents in here and there. "mmm't" like he wanted to play with the ornaments. I let him play with a couple. He thought that was cool..  On Christmas morning I cherished getting up early and turning on the tree lights, then sneaking back to bed before Rhiannon got up. When she did, she ran back to our bedroom yelling, "santa was here, santa was here"  (I love it!!!) So we got Ian up and we all went to the living room to open the presents. Mom and Popps had spent the night with us too, so they got to see all the excitement too.  We had our present opening session, then off to breakfast. After that mom and popps left back for Mio. They definetly live too far away.  We packed up the kids and went over to my mom and dads for dinner. It is a yearly tradition. My sister and her family and my family all meet at mom and dad's on Christmas day for dinner.  We always get together as a whole family the Sunday before Christmas (remember I have 7 siblings ) it is a huge turnout. The saturday before we spend with my husbands side of the family which is also a huge event with his 6 siblings... christmas eve is spent with mom and popps. Then usually around new years eve or on we get together with Jo and Tee.  So, to sum it all up. I really cherished deep down everything about this christmas season. I wasn't sure if it was going to be my last one or not.....
