"They told me my hair would begin to come out about 17 days after my first infusion. Starting about day 11 my husband would begin the day in bed by giving my hair a little tug and say "still holding strong sweetie, maybe you'll be the one who doesn't lose her hair!" I didn't hold out that hope, but I always humored him with a smile. On what I later realized was day 18 he woke me up with the usual tug and a sad little moan. "Oh honey, I am so sorry!" He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head.
