October 24, 2006, It is hard to believe that last year at this time I had just found out I had cancer and was awaiting surgery, unsure of what was going to happen.  So much has happened in the past year.  I am looking forward to a much quieter less eventful year.  Travis and I went to Maine this past weekend.  We had a great time.  It rained all the way there, but Saturday morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise and had sunny weather the rest of the weekend.  We walked on the beach, collected rocks, saw lighthouses, did a little shopping and a lot of eating!  It was wonderful.  I'm on a three month schedule at the doctors.  I see them all again in December.  Hopefully everything stays clean.
