Thank God! I am not feeling as bad as I did last week after therapy #1. I will have to have a talk with the doctor about the steroids I receive which I just found out about yesterday! I did not sleep a wink Thursday night. Even the next day my body was exhausted but mind and my mouth did not calm down until about 6pm! It was horrible.
I could not figure out why I felt that way so I called my nurse and she said "oh it must be the steroids" I'm like What! I guess it helps with nausea and extreme fatigue. No kidding! Anyway, they need to lower my dose. That was crazy! Now, I did get a lot done but now I feel like I over did it. And Jon was like now my wife is crazy! I did have a few spaz out moments Sorry honey The nice thing about knowing you are loved. He always forgives me.
Good news is I slept like a baby last night! My port surgery site is still a little sore. It will be nice when I can sleep in another position other than on my back I am not a back sleeper, fetal position for me thank you! I did wake up ready for the world at 5AM. Go figure.
I turned on my classical music, got out my bible and started reading Psalms 1. What a good read! I then went to Luke 8 Jesus and the parables Awesome! Oh and I had some hot tea. It was a perfect moment.
Then the two J's stumbled around the corner so it was snuggle time.
The Tompkins family made and delivered dinner to us last night. We had Chicken Bruschetta, Salad and Brownies! Thank you Celcilia!
The moms from Jonny's class have signed up to deliver us a dinner 3 nights a week for the next month. I cannot tell you all how grateful my family and I am for your thoughtfulness and your kindness.
Teresa Wallentine~ You are an Angel! You have taken me under your wing and we just met I think a month ago! God Bless you! You are an amazing lady. Thank you so much! You may not know it but I am learning valuable life lessons from your example.
Well off to start my meds.
I love reading my guest book. It really brightens my day. Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes.
