Together we decided that a Lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy was the right course of action. My head was swimming. How would I have surgery? I was pregnant! They tipped the operating table so that I wasn't laying flat on my back. They also hooked up a monitor so that I could hear my baby's heart beat the whole time. It kept me going.
