It actually went pretty well. I got half the benedryl and that was nice. Still woozy but not as bad. After my treatments I lose all color to my skin and look sooo pale its quite scary. The next day I look much better. I didn't get to sleep until 2am thanks to the steroids. Good thing that is only on Thursday.

My mom is here for the week. We have been having a real nice visit. It was good to see her finally! I tend to get a bit lonely from time to time.

Today I have an appointment with my surgeon to go over MRI results. I'm sure good news. Gotta think positive!

Trying to figure out where I am going to have my surgeries. Please pray for me. Its between The center for restorative breast surgery with Dr. Frank J. Dellacroce and Dr. Scott K. Sullivan in New Orleans Lousiana OR since my surgeon studied in San Francisco and say the Drs. at UCSF Mount Zion also due this type of procedure and have done it enough to be safe that is another option. The doctors there are Robert Foster and Gabriel Kind. I haven't heard from the SF team but the NOLA team has called and I have heard nothing but rave reviews on there work from women who have had the actual surgery I am getting. I am leaning towards NOLA. If anyone know about any of these places or drs. please give me your opinion. I will be getting a bilateral mastectomy with DIEP flap reconstuction. Due to past surgeries I don't think the skin sparing option will be open to me.
